I agree they do get repetitive.
I don't know about the visual bug you are getting so can you describe it to me.
The visual bug i had, sometimes the note appears on the screen for one moment( a second) like it going to hit. but then disappeared before gets the hit area ot smthg like that
oh ok well that is when the beat has expired or missed
