Not only that, but the story is genuinely ass when depicting the foundation.
Agent 13 (or Jack) is just another Mary Sue that just about had a minor conflict after the "bombing attack" of the story and nevertheless only showed me that the character was as as plain as the whole game. Too cliché. Main character looks unbeatable, and the foundation would NOT send a single dude to "save the world" or complete an operation by himself. And sending HIM only with a PISTOL?? Fuck you. SCP Foundation is not to be reckoned with anime troupes.
It's a porn game. That's about it. I couldn't expect more from the story. But it's so mediocre that it's just laughable material. It insists upon itself. The art is great, though.
After a few days of completing the game I absolutely agree with you. The arts good and it's porn but that's all it has going for it.
To add onto one of you points, someone as important as that would have a larger team, someone to not only supply history and background checks but also someone to send in back up when needed.
Only having a pistol is also a problem because while it can scare normal humans, facing anomalies or large groups of humans, a pistol ain't scaring anything. At least give the pistol some extensions or a gun with actual power.
