Thank you for the detailed feedback! I can understand the floating frustration. Instead of stopping instantly I thought it would look better to have an acceleration slowing you down to zero vertical speed. As a dev I probably just got used to it taking a second and if I were to update the game I'd increase the strength of this acceleration.
Regarding the wall jumping that feedback was eye-opening to me. You aren't the only one here with the exact frustration of needing to switch directions while wall jumping, and it made me realize something about myself. For as long as I have been playing video games, when I wall jump I instinctually switch directions after each jump. As such I have designed the wall jumping segments based on my own habit. I did not realize this is an uncommon habit! You have no idea how exciting this revelation is to me :D
