Is the previous version gone forever? I would be overjoyed if it was made available for access separately.

Hello, I was wondering if I missed the link being posted :) If u were too busy to get around to it no worries! I just feel it’s such a shame if the previous version were to be lost.
I read the game when it was first posted on cog, then again when it was rewritten in twine. I was shocked at the leap in quality in the rewrite. In the IF world there’s this strange phenomenon where every time an IF gets rewritten it plummets in quality. It happened to Freak Amongst the Neon Lights, Fool Me Once, and many more. This was the first exception I had seen. The grammar and pacing issue I noticed on the first demo was entirely fixed, and the prose was much better.
But this recent rewrite, well. It didn’t replicate that magic. The dialogue feels very robotic, the characters less alive, and the prose like an emotionless log of things that happened.
I heard you were planning on changes to the plot, but there are many areas where the gist of the dialogue and prose is the same, just… drained of soul.
As someone struggling to reconnect with my own Wip and with the expectations of fans I understand it’s not easy, but I hope the re-rewritten scenes get another miraculous glow up I now know you’re capable of making.
