Hey dude! Apologies that the segmented event-chain stylisation doesn't really gel with you :(
I try my best to separate events at natural stopping points. Maybe the scenery has changed, a new character gets involved, or the dialog takes a very different turn from what it once was. I understand that this might make the event progression seem a little off - but each event is roughly the same length, so you're not really missing out on all too much.
