impressed by the “art style” you chose! i imagined it as a mixture between Rouge and Text-RPGS. enjoyed the aesthetic, but the game fights were kind of pointless, since all you had to do is clicking “A” and win almost always. would have liked if you added a kind of minigame for challenge for the fighting action

Yeah, I was going to have items and more advanced strategies, but I ended up scrapping them due to time constraints. There are still some enemies you can spare, but it's not as interesting as I would have liked.
