thanks for bringing this to my attention. for the time being, i've restored the files to download for everybody who has already purchased the game, but inflated the price. i think that's the next best workaround, but i'm going to keep futzing with the itch backend to see if there's a cleaner option here.
EDIT: i believe i've switched up the settings so that new purchases are disabled, but folks who already own the game can still download it. let me know if you're still having trouble accessing files and i can continue to tinker with it.
