You don't need to keep the green snake's head on the platform. Even with the green snake head left of the spike, green is still recoverable after you save red and the block.
I see, thanks! It was confusing to me because I couldn’t find an alternate solution to that part, and everything seemed to be arranged for that to be able to work.
