Thank you for playing our game! The handling is mostly intentional and a bit accidental, but it fits well with what we wanted, so here it is. Hope the ping is not giving you too much hard time. I do agree that the early game is a bit slow and that it might need some fine-tuning. Audio issues also needed to be looked at at some point.
