The community collectively asked if we could extend the deadline for the jam to include the weekend, a poll was made and 77% of the voters agreed.
I really want to see all of you guys succeed in making an entry, therefore the deadline has been extended, use the time wisely!
Jamlytics is a community where data nerds, game devs and programmers come together to chill & talk data!
This Jam & future jams in its wake are all about improving our skills as game developers, by factoring in stats that other jams tend to ignore, such as accessibility. And as a bonus, we get loads of cool games to play & data to analyze!
Join the
Jamlytics Discord
to get the latest updates on the jam, and to meet the community!
It's data analysis Discord bot will go in overdrive during the jam!

The theme chosen by the community. (yay democracy!)
( All voting options have been decided by the community during many chat sessions! )
You can interpret this theme in many ways!
- You can make a game about a bad internet connection,
- You can think about it as a connection between two people,
- You can connect things together,
- You can make a game about a misunderstanding, or a mistery!
- You can make a game about a bad communication
- You connected with the wrong people and now you are in a bad situation!
- You turn lag or buffering into a game mechanic!
- You can wander a corrupted file system, or a broken world!
- You can use the ping pong metaphor!
- You can turn resolution & blur into a game mechanic!
- You can look at electricity, or a broken circuit!
- You can take it from a universal perspective, like a black hole or a wormhole!
*Generative AI is defined as any AI that generates content, including but not limited to: text, images, audio, video, and code.
This does NOT include classical AI, such as pathfinding algorithms, enemy AI, or neural networks that are fundamentally different from generative AI.
Make sure to submit your game before the deadline! There will be no extensions. Exceptions will only be made if Itch.io had technical issues.
A web build is HIGHLY recommended, as it makes it easy for people on all platforms to play your game, and it makes it safer for everyone involved.
Note the submission form will have some questions!
