Theme nicely integrated, and I honestly think there is a cool game to be found here to be expanded in the future. Few things I found lacking/think should be updated:

Attack range and damage should be indicated somewhere. Dying to the guy to the right on the left map felt random on low hp as they dealt so much you basically had to figure it out from full hp. Planning would be much more fluid if that info was presented from the get go!

I also feel like, since we cannot redo action (or it was not explained), passing a turn should be automatic, as I’m just clicking for the sake of clicking. There is no decision to make after stepping/attacking, why waste user input.

Overall the ideas you had are nice and with a little polish you could have a cool game under your belt. Also, music waaay to loud.
