Beautifully written and with a very solemn presentation, and the music elevates the whole experience.
The entranced, meticulous description of every one of the heron's parts, physical and part of the legend, reminded me of the almost bewitched, thoughtful description Julio Cortázar wrote about a salamander in his tale "Axolotl", which I recommend you read if you haven't already!
I would have liked enjoying a variety of heron images to give a sense of "motion", as reading in one side of the screen only made it even more static than turning the pages of a book, or even turning pages in an e-reader, as a huge piece of the screen remained the same.
I didn't quite like either that the endings are gated by a dice roll, but I understand that it's part of the message, and was a necessity.
Good job!
