If I buy the game on Itch does it come with a Steam Key?

I've seen a few other Devs give Steam Keys to people who buy their game on Itch, though many Devs don't do this. I will happily buy your game full price on Itch if it comes with a Steam Key, otherwise I'll just wait until it comes out on Steam and get it there. I know Devs get more money selling their games on Itch than they do Steam, so I often double-check. The convenience of Steam updating games for me is something I can't deny is a huge massive perk over Itch, as I do hate reinstalling games with each Itch update, but I also want to support the Devs buy getting them as much money as possible, hence when I always prefer buying on Itch whenever I either don't need to worry about big updates/installs or if Steam keys are available.

Did hear from one person in some countries it is forbidden for Devs to give out Steam keys on Itch though, hence why I just buy on Steam in those cases.

Hello! Itch will come with Steam keys, usually devs cannot distribute on steam when their game has been released previously on another store, but when the release comes at the same time you are allowed to do it.
Anyway, the biggest form of support you can give a dev in general is still buying on steam, while it takes a minor cut, steam reviews left with a "normal" copy of the game count for Steam's algorhythm while copies got outside of the game don't (which is a big thing since Steam's market is hundreds of times bigger than Itch).
Anyway, thank your for your interest, hope I made the point clear for you!

I appreciate it. I will happily buy it on Steam and leave an honest and positive review to help support you.
