Absolutely loving the game so far, cannot wait for the full version. Massive, massive applause to the work done so far. I would be more than happy to contribute if you are open to it. A few deal-breaking bugs and some nice-to-haves, assuming you're asking for feedback. In order of importance (in my opinion)
Version 106 (though most issues were present on version 90 onwards)
1. I frequently mash TAB and ESC, not knowing how to get out of some menus (Buying things, pkmn stats whilst in a battle, scrolling through the bag)
2. Using an ultrawide monitor on Windowed Fullscreen mode causes a big white rectangle to cover the left side of the screen when opening the Pokemon menu. Issue resolves when using any other display setting - I assume the previous menu transitions using a wipe, but the wipe stops just off screen, usually not visible on a 16:9 monitor
3. When learning a new move I think we should be able to see the move when selecting which ones to forget, as well as the move's type, accuracy, power, description etc.
4. You can move, open the menu, save etc. after a battle but before the evolution animation starts
5. The EXP gain is probably a little overpowered - I have 3 level 25+ pokemon that have all evolved at least once all within 30 mins of playing the game.
6. can't click to select moves - the cursor highlights a move but I still have to press the spacebar to select/use it
7. When pressing E (RB) to switch to the TMs tab, the "TMs (RB)" button doesn't change to "Items (LB)" or whatever, it just stays the same
8. After 20 mins of playing I found my character not aligned with the grid. Nothing broke, more of a visual thing that makes it hard to tell which tile my character is really standing on
9. Pokemon will fully heal when they evolve but their PP stays the same. Both or neither would be fine, as long as it seemed intentional :P
10. When walking around the Ashen Forest, every few steps I get a notification saying I'm in Mysterious Island again, then changes back to Ashen Forest eventually
11. When a pokemon in my party levels up with exp share, the active pokemon's exp bar flashes (Purely visual, no biggie)
12. In the original games you could mash B to cancel an evolution. I assume TAB is the equivalent, but it doesn't cancel evolutions. Basically useless feature anyway, but thought I'd mention just in case
Controls are okay, dialogue is cool, music is great, instant text skipping is such a good addition, animations are AMAZING, visual effects are SO COOL, many many things done right with this. I'll say again that I cannot wait for the full version and would be happy to contribute in any way I can.
