My wife is a multitalented creative, so I'm definitely viewing AI stuff through that lens. While AI as a tool is inherently neutral, I've never heard of one that was trained up without stealing from existing artists. I'd honestly rather you loop through some stuff you've already got access to than use AI. AI should be doing pattern recognition to find cancer, not replacing art.

While I agree with this view, especially with visual art, I don't want to loop through what I have. I already do that as it is and trying to spread those repeat songs can get to be a pain in the ass. It can be really hard to find a track I want for a scene. Some devs will just grab some music they think sounds cool and stick it in there. I don't do that. I've delayed releases being stuck on finding the right music for one scene.
The subject of AI can generate some debate. But I'm not looking for that. And I am not planning on going to all AI music. This may simply be a situation where I need one more track and having a hard time finding one, so I do an AI song.
Finally, I have considered making my own music. I have done that (there are several tracks in my games that I made myself). The only issue with that is really just time. Anyway, thanks for the feedback.
