Nice game! Here are some ideas to make it easier for the player: add a dash/sprint or run mechanic, increase the size of the bullets, or make the enemies hover over the planet a little bit or slow down if the player isn't on the same hemisphere or 180 degree arc. Other polishes would make this game shine like cinematic slowdowns, hit stuns, or spatial 3D audio. Great start for a game!
