The graphical style of the menu is amazing — it has a fantastic atmosphere. Unfortunately, I get the feeling that most of the effort went into the menu, and there wasn’t enough time left for the actual gameplay. The dialogue appeared to be in a strange language. I also missed a keybinding guide — I had to do some trial and error.
There are graphical glitches when collecting wood, and gathering doesn’t seem to give any resources. It’s also possible to walk off-screen. Overall, the game lacks a clear goal and polish. But that menu… if there was a separate rating for it, it would definitely be a 5/5 in that category. ;)
It’s a pity there’s no Web version — in Unity, it’s quite easy to build for WebGL and upload to itch.io. I made the same mistake initially, and very few people played my game. After adding the Web version, it gained much more attention.
