A whole quest system?! I was super impressed! The movement and combat felt clean and intuitive - including a lot of features that made the platforming feel responsive- great job! A few people said the movement was too fast, but I think it was fine. It could feel fast since it the camera was close to your character, so maybe zooming out would help a little bit.
A few notes:
1) I couldn't find the last few things of fruit / 3rd villager (if there was one) so I am not sure if I didn't explore thoroughly enough and missed something or not
2) After defeating all the monsters, I could talk to the mouse and get coins every time I talked with them
3) losing wasn't that big of a deal (I didn't lose my progress, yay!) But when I started grinding for the coins, that's when I really noticed it. I was wishing there was a way to recover your coins.
4) I wanted to be rewarded for not taking damage from an enemy, so maybe if the player is still at full life, enemies drop more money?
5) The combo was amazing! A few times on the dash, I felt like I got punished for it, either dashing off a ledge (is there a way to prevent dashing off the edge without removing it?), and sometimes I would dash through one enemy only to be hurt by another enemy somewhat close to the fight, so I learned to stop using the dash which is unfortunate since it was so cool!
6) The hitbox of the attack felt off - it was good, but visually it felt off.
7) attacking enemies above /below me felt harder since I had to line up my attack and didnt have an up / down attack to aim at them
Overall, super impressed with this game! Scored it with lots of 5's - great work!
