im impressed that you made all of the assets because its very visually appealing - game looks great. From a mechanics perspective I like that you have the countdown timer to add some pressure or incentive to find those buddies quickly. It can actually be quite challenging! I think the one thing missing that would elevate the game a bit is some sound, especially for example, when you check if the buddy you've found is the right one or not. At first for me it didnt work for some reason (I found the buddy but it didnt register) then it DID work but took me several seconds to realise it had worked - so some kind of sound to assist my old eyes would be great. But otherwise its a very cute aesthetic that you've created and a fun experience to get lost in a little forest for a while so well done and good job.
