Hey dev. Is it possible to enable the Wayland display driver for the Linux builds? X11 is slowly being deprecated in distros and desktop environments as Wayland is replacing it. As far as I can see, the Godot version you used seems to be below 4.3, so you’ll have to upgrade it and enable it. You can do this by following the instructions provided here: https://godotengine.org/article/dev-snapshot-godot-4-3-dev-3/#wayland-support-for-linux

Note that this might break the game and not allow it to be launched. If that is the case, ask for help in the Godot forums or disable it and enable it someday later.

While I agree that Wayland is becoming more and more popular, for now the game will keep on being aimed towards X11. I have however upgraded the Godot version to use 4.4.1 with the future release, so you will be able to try out the Wayland drivers by using the --display-driver wayland arguments when starting the game.

Thank you.
