Said it a while back but was hyped for this, and rightfully so!
I think I've replayed this two or three times before, and I think this was the only time I considered someone other than Sophie to be my favorite character. Having a tough time deciding if Helen or Sophie is my favorite.
Bet she ended up borrowing Sophie's tail for this page's background lol
Kind of funny how easily my opinion flips about Shinigami. One moment "Oh, she's not as evil as I remember" then it's "Oh, ok. Yeah maybe she is" back to "Well... Maybe not". Not to say that I dislike her in anyway, mind you. Just always when I think I have her figured out, know what I mean?
Another thing I love is that although there are quite a number of questions to be asked, they aren't really posed in a way that stands out to the point where you dwell on it. It's there just long enough to raise the question without demanding your attention so it can slide back into the background.
Prime example, for me, being MC's killer/Sophie's stepdad. MC only gave a passing thought about how old he was, didn't seem to pay any mind to how he was relatively young looking when he killed him. Then there's how, although he mentioned the leak happening while confronting him, he neglected mentioning how it was the guy who killed him.
Though, maybe I'm just too invested in another game and that's why the brief questions stand out to me, but I like it nonetheless.
Anyway, great update. Can't wait to see more, hope things go by smoothly for you!
