Greetings! First of all, of course, I won't take criticism the wrong way, more considering you've said it respectfully!

I don't have much to say since, we basically think exactly the same on most things.

However, there are some silly little details I wanna clarify:

1) I think there was, on my part, a failure to explain it, but: Cassie technically "never suffered bullying" since he was a child ostracized by society, isolated in a cabin in the middle of the woods. He was born with a dissociative disorder that rendered him unable to understand simple things. (In chapter 3, he mentions that he has a friend named UlySS, who is just a message bot he talks to.) The only real friend she had was online, Lyrisol, the original creator of Fursona Maker 3.

(That said, I quite regret how I told the ending of the story, honestly.)

2) Personally, I can see a parent psychologically torturing their child if they decide to dress up in furry outfits. (Obviously, for anyone with more than two brain cells, mistreating someone for that would seem atrocious, but sadly there are parents out there who don't deserve the air they breathe.) My point is, if an abusive, "close-minded" parent sees that their child is "gay" compared to seeing them enjoy dressing up and "feeling like an anthropomorphic animal"... I don't know, I think the former is easier to explain.

3) The "Fake Operating System" has nothing to do with Fursona Maker 3, indeed, but that was done on purpose. I did it mostly to give the impression that you're playing a game within another, within another...

Could it definitely have been done better?

And about the "UI isn't responsive" thing, believe me, you're absolutely right, and it was one of the things that bothered me the most. But I used Renpy, a great program for making visual novels, but if you want to do something even slightly different, you'll have to take on engineering to understand everything.

4) If by "scares" you mean "jumpscares," yup, they are preeeety bad. The first one is literally screaming at me with a low pitch.

5) And with that, I'll close. The reason Chapter 3 isn't about Cassi, but about the player, is for two reasons. First, because the choices serve a gameplay function, and second, to confuse the player about what they should think, since if you came from Chapter 1 and 2, your image of the player would be negative. It would serve as a bridge to when you discover the truth in Chapter 5.

Overall, and the reason I so agree with you, is because I think I had some really good ideas for this game, but the problem lay in how I implemented some of them.

I'll take note of your recommendations, and thank you very much for the critique and for playing the game. Have a good night, pal!
