I could delete this post, but it's more logical explain why that happen.
No, the game don't have any kind of virus (If the game have it, it will be fastly erased from Itch.io)
Why this happen then?
The game:
-Register the Username and Time of the player
-Creates .txt files on your computer (In fact, only inside the game folder). This is to register some advances of the players. The game creates, for example, firstroute.smor (smor extension dont exist, its a .roms reference, like .chr in doki doki). Other times create files as Easter Eggs.
Virus total mark as suspicious any program that with code creates files, logically.
I invite anyone to analyse the things you download with this kind of websites for avoid problems, but no, none of my games has "viruses"
With that said... (Don't take this on the wrong way... but...) if you are a Developer, like you name says, you should know most indie horror games that "broke 4th wall" can be detected as virus for this exactly reason, and you really should investigate or ask privatly to avoid misinformation.
ADD:
If someone don't belive me. I just remember the game it's fully un-encrypted, you can easily see ALL the code of the game. The programing lenguange is Renpy. (Python for Visual Novels). You can see how none file is used on that kind of way.
