amazing game. probably spent 3 hours on it so far. a couple things from the comments:
instructions: Dont worry too much about making it easier to figure out what to do. Anyone that spends time will figure it out
details: don't worry too much about lighting design in corridors. no one is here for AAA visuals. a lot of times these games end up failing because the creator gets too caught up with the details rather than what makes the game good
I would just keep doing exactly what you're doing - adding more days, scenes, scenarios (cutscenes) to be immersive - guard not wanting to get caught. i don't think this needs a character creator, but having m/f and f/f would be good secondary things to add too rather than maps and lighting.
