I’m glad to hear you were able to play the game.
If you have any other questions or feedback, please feel free to leave a comment anytime :)
Thank you so much for your valuable feedback.
I’m really glad to hear that you’ve played the game a lot and enjoyed it.
Your words are a huge motivation for me in developing this game.
In future updates, I plan to add more features along with some form of in-game guide to help players.
I’m considering either making the nights longer or adjusting the overall game balance.
What I’m a bit concerned about is that if the nights become too long, players might end up with too much downtime.
If I make adjustments, I’d be very grateful if you could share your feedback again.
I will review the game balance to ensure that completing tasks doesn’t feel stressful.
As a developer, I often find myself stuck in a subjective point of view, so feedback like yours is truly invaluable.
Most of all, knowing that you are enjoying the game gives me the greatest motivation to keep creating.
I hope you’ll continue to look forward to the upcoming updates!
Hello,
Thank you very much for your clear and thoughtful feedback. It's very easy to understand and deeply appreciated.
Responses to your favorite design points:
1.The current game balance is honestly still in a trial-and-error phase. I’m considering adding difficulty settings in the future. Of course, harder difficulties will come with greater rewards.
2.I plan to improve the task list to make it even easier to understand going forward.
3.I'm really happy that you enjoy revisiting your favorite scenes.
4.I put a lot of care into character design.
However, since I handle all aspects of the game — programming, animation, and more — by myself, updates may be a bit slow.
Once the game earns enough to support development full-time, I hope to focus entirely on Doll Labo rather than working on it during my limited spare time. Please look forward to that.
Responses to your concerns and suggestions:
1.This is indeed a very delicate balance.
I try to minimize the UI during regular gameplay to preserve the game’s atmosphere.
That said, as you mentioned, the item UI can be a bit tricky to use, especially when being chased.
I plan to revise the UI design in the future to improve this.
2.Don’t worry — your naming is correct :)
I intentionally left out detailed explanations for the dolls.
However, I do plan to add related in-game events to help players understand more about them.
3.I will be improving the task UI so tasks are easier to understand.
4.You may have noticed there’s some space below each gallery thumbnail — I plan to use that area to display unlock conditions in a future update.
5.Great suggestion! I will add room numbers in a future update.
Adding multiple language options is a high priority for me, since my goal is for as many people as possible to enjoy this game.
However, as I am developing this game solo, it may take time to implement multilingual support.
I'm truly grateful that you found this game and gave it a try.
Your comment is very encouraging and helps motivate me to keep developing.
I plan to model and add many new costumes for the protagonist in future updates.
If you have any scenes or animations you'd like to see, feel free to leave a comment or contact me directly via DM onX (formerly Twitter).
I'm truly happy to be developing this game together with all of you.
Please continue to look forward to future updates!
Thank you very much for your incredibly helpful feedback :)
I'm truly happy to hear that you're enjoying the game.
Player feedback is extremely valuable, and I’m confident it helps make the game even better.
One thing I’m currently considering is the addition of difficulty settings—such as Easy, Normal, and Hard—to better tailor the experience for different players.
There can often be a gap between the developer’s perspective and the player’s experience, which is why feedback like yours is so important and insightful.
I’m fully committed to developing this game with all my passion and effort.
My goal is to create something that as many people as possible can enjoy, and I will continue working towards exciting and meaningful updates.
Please look forward to future updates—and once again, thank you very much for your feedback!
Thank you very much for your comment.
Your kind words truly motivate me to keep developing.
I’m fully committed to creating this game, and messages from players like you make me genuinely happy.
My goal with this project is not to make a profit, but to create something that as many people as possible can enjoy.
I’ll continue working hard on Doll Labo until my development funds run out.
If you enjoyed the game, I’d really appreciate it if you could leave a rating — that alone would make me more than happy.
Thank you again for your encouraging words :)
Hello! I'm really happy to hear you're enjoying the game.
In future updates, I’m considering slightly lowering Indigo’s movement speed and adjusting the difficulty.
However, since one of the core concepts of the game is to provide a sense of accomplishment when overcoming a slightly challenging experience, I’d like to keep that balance in mind.
The game is still a work in progress, but I hope you look forward to the next update!
Thank you for your comment.
I'm really glad to hear you're enjoying the game!
I will look into the issue with Lab002 Triple Threat not working correctly.
Are you unable to unlock the animation that plays in the Lab001 room?
I'll investigate the cause of that as well.
Currently, only the Blue and Green MQs on the stage are active and will chase the player.
There are many ideas in development and more features are planned to be added.
The biggest challenge is the limited development time...
But please look forward to the next update :)
Thank you very much for providing the detailed screenshot.
It really helps with our investigation and improvements!
Doll Labo is designed to display the UI properly in a 16:9 resolution of 1920x1080.
Since I work on a 16:9 monitor, there's a possibility I may have overlooked UI issues on other aspect ratios.
If you don’t mind, could you please answer the following questions?
What is the resolution of your monitor?
Are you playing on a laptop?
Hello. Are you still experiencing the same error?
At Doll Labo, we aim to ensure the game can be played smoothly on as many systems as possible.
If you don't mind, could you please share your system specifications?
CPU
Memory (RAM)
GPU (Graphics Card)
Also, we would appreciate it if you could check whether your GPU drivers are up to date.
My goal is for many people to enjoy playing Doll Labo.
To make it more accessible, I’m considering releasing it on Steam in the future.
That said, it’s currently difficult to make a living from this game alone, and I’m not yet sure if I’ll be able to continue development all the way through to a commercial release.
If the game is available for download and play on itch.io, I’d be grateful if you could wait a little longer :)
Although I’m developing this game entirely on my own, I’m putting my heart and soul into it.
Warm messages from everyone have been a great source of motivation to keep going.
Please look forward to future updates and news!
Thank you very much for reaching out.
On my end, I was able to download it without any issues using the PC app.
The cause is still unclear, but I’ll continue looking into it.
Thank you again for your report.
I’m truly happy to hear that you’re enjoying the game.
Receiving feedback like this is the most rewarding part of developing games.
Thank you so much for your kind comment.
Please look forward to the next update :)
If everything goes well, the latest version should be available in early access sometime in May.
