When i try to download any of the PDFs and the .rar by browser says they fail virus scan and it wont download, this happens in Brave and Chrome...
I have been searching for a TTRPG game like this since playing the DarkSouls Board Game. I even tried creating something myself with no success - This is great!
I have a few questions with my first game. I think they're easily home-ruled but it would be good to clarify them:
- When you explore, can you do multiple of the activities - or is it a choice? e.g. if there is Search and Lore at one location - can you do both?
- Say i start off and I move twice (filling in 2 slots of the clock in the example realm), are the activities now Day or Night? (Does the clock movement happen (after travel + before action) or (after travel + after action)?
- Does "Block 1" work like "Block 1 Harm per opponent" or "Block 1 from total Harm". Similarly, does "Block 2" work per opponent or for total Harm?
- Can Block nullify damage from a Hazard?
- Are spells intended to be consumable (like a scroll?) or permanent?
You can do both actions. Point actions usually have some cost or interaction with the realm clock. So while you can do everything, that might not always be the best play.
The clock movement happens after movement. So if you filled in the clock after moving, the time of day shifts.
Block affects total harm.
Yes.
Spells are permanent.
Hope that helps!
Hey, I haven't started playing yet, but I'm planning to do so tonight. I'm reading through the rules, and I'm curious about Lore. It says in the book that when you leave a Realm, your Lore is reset to zero. The book also states that you can leave a Realm unfinished, and come back later.
My question is, in that circumstance, shouldn't I keep a note of the Lore I had in a Realm before I left it, and go back to that score when I go back to it? Because the points/events that might have given me Lore in that Realm do not reset, and also it makes sense that the character doesn't forget what they know for each Realm
