Yeah that is one issue that popped up mostly. The expedition part is too fast and info is not exactly clear. All dice rolls and challenge checks are under the hood so the result seems random (it actually is not). I should have made the expeditions clearer, at least add in the math behind the fail reason and check vs difficulty class

Gotcha. Yeah, I think seeing something after the cause of death like:

Speed check: 7 (Stat) + 6 (Roll) < 15 (Target)

Would help make it more clear how much luck or bad stats or whatever else was the cause.

Still, for a game jam this was pretty solid!
