This is gonna be a long one, so be prepared.
Game is really cool, and I have been following it since July 2023, but the combat seems to be more or less the same as it was back then. I really wish there were some aoe attacks that you could use to knock back all enemies around you, one that hits everything from large to small ones, and one that hits the really small ones like the maggots.
Also, I would really like to just hit enemies trying to come from behind, like having a quick back attack and then combo them from there, instead of only having the option to dodge to avoid taking damage.
Some enemies seem pretty unbalanced too as of now, as I feel the brutes are a bit much. One of them is not too difficult to deal with, but two of them at the same time are just absolute cancer to fight. Two of them are honestly far more threatening that any of the bosses in the game as of now, or any enemy in general. I think that there's just not enough options to deal with armored enemies like them right now is the issue. If there was more attacks that did heavy damage to their super armor, I think it would a lot better. Hell, maybe even a powerup that lets you break super armor faster.
One thing that I noticed is that after a H scene, you don't have any i frames. If say you skipped one specific scene, because you have seen it a million times already, and there's fire or the any ground hazard, you'll just take all that damage from the fire and such until you can move again.
Another thing that I would love is attacks that let you recover from being on the ground, similar to what the fem cops got.
Oh, and any plans to add battle damage, besides just your clothes breaking? I mean something where you get bruises, blood, etc as your health gets lower. I just think this would be really cool, but I understand if this won't ever happen, though a bit disappointing since I do love having the best of both worlds.
Also, a powerup or even items to recover that exhaustion meter would be a very nice addition. If you go from stage to stage without resting at the hub, you can recover your health and repair your equipment, but there's no way to recover exhaustion.
Also, most wave stages has a merchant that you can repair your gear and buy items at, but the spider cave don't have a merchant at all. Any chance of making the repair powerups more common there, or add a merchant to that location?
Something I was thinking about ever since the addition of the Syndicate Girl, which has guns, any chance you get guns in the future, as powerups or as really powerful weapons that break fast and are expensive to repair? Any plans for any different weapons at all besides your fists, like knives, bats, swords, sledgehammers, etc?
Speaking of the Syndicate Girl, will that one eventually become a 3x H scene, instead of being a solo one, since there's clearly 3 of them? I do certainly like that specific H scene though, and I hope I see more like it where poor Onyx gets milked like a cow.
I assume it will be fixed at some point, but when say your shorts slot is broken, enemies still have that animation where they rip it off. A bit of a nitpick, I know, but I hope soon enough they will skip that animation if you're bare assed already.
Just an idea, but I'd love to have death scenes in addition to the H scenes. Like the crawler enemies (the big worms) straight up voring you for example. Like the H scenes, those who don't want stuff like this could turn it off. To balance it, I think these attacks should be a desperation attack from enemies. Like only being used at low health around 10-15% or so, and fairly rare that can only be used by bosses and a few specific enemies. That, and you'd always have a meter to resist their attempt. Maybe a purple flash to warn you about them, since the H attacks got already red so that you know what's coming.
Also, I really do like the Runt enemies, but would be neat to see a female versions of them. Also, I hope the Runts get a H scene of their own. Not just a team up with another enemy.
Last but not least, I would love to have some running attacks. Things like jumping knees or dropkicks, and maybe add the slide we already got for a low running attack.
Speaking of the slide, I hope eventually that the hitbox would follow how low you are, because as of now, it's treated as if you're standing since you still get hit by high and medium attacks. I especially want it to work like this, since the Blade Bunnies are very annoying with their spin2win attack since you can't hit them low without getting hit or interrupt it because how the way hitbox of the slide is. They love spamming that attack, and since you can't hit them at all, it just wastes time mostly. I just want something to interrupt it instead of waiting for them to finish every time. Hell, even a throwing consumable or weapon even, like a throwing knife would be very appreciated against enemies like this.
Sorry for the long wall of text, but hey, at least it shows I'm passionate about playing this game, and love it and will continue to support it whenever I can.
