If you are trying to import old saves, they will not work. Make sure to clear the save folder if updating the game.
Also, the game includes a working save close to the newest content.

Can you please be a bit more specific about what boss fights/where the saves are not working for you?

The boss fight that the game crashed on is a fight on level 9 after the heroine is saved by the wolf. Also the save is new, I downloaded the game for the first time one day after version 0.6.5 came out.

I reinstalled the game and started a new safe and the game was fixed

lucky you to only have to do it once, I lost to the boss during that same section in the same version, second hotfix, and still my save got fucked, after having to reset my save because it got corrupted for exiting the game while battling the orc with the metal arm, after having to erase my demo save because it also got corrupted, having to reset again is not fun to hear, I'd rather wait a couple of versions until things get more stable.
