Thanks for your comment!

This game is more like a puzzle game than a platformer, and the fall damage is the problem I proposed. As you said, the falling is really bad at times, that’s because the height induced puzzle might sometimes  feel not that intuitive.

I think a good modification might be using different colors as hint to indicate the height of safety and danger.

If possible, it would be great if you can try this game again! After paying attention to the fragility of the skeleton, the levels will be less annoying, and there are something really cool as you go through the game!

Thanks for your playing again! I will polish this game and publish version 0.2 in the future.

Yep, that's what I thought. But I wish you could just... I just woke up and can't form sentences. The problem sort of arises when you have a platform that's like 4 blocks high, from which you need to drop down, but you press jump instead and die. I know it probably won't be easy to do something about it (and it's a game for a game jam)

Haven't read the full reply at the time of writing that, but a color coded solution seems nice

The 4-blocks-high platform is indeed a threshold, because 5-blocks is dead height, and the skeleton can jump 2-blocks, which means the player must straightforwardly move to another platform instead of leaping onto it. I understand it can be frustrating when you want to jump to somewhere but then find yourself broken, and it also happens to me when I test the level.

Thanks again for your comment! I will try to improve the tutorial phrase, introduce the mechanics  more clearly, and use some decoration to help with the level indication.
