This pack does not include any monsters from the 'NES style monsters' collection.
However, it is certainly possible to use them together. Just note that the 'NES style monsters' assets are primarily designed for front-view battles. So if you're using a front-view battle system, there shouldn't be any issues, but with side-view battles, some people might find the combination a bit jarring.
