The one thing that is confusing me the most might be all down to this : are you meant to be able to pick more than one buddy with you at the same time? It's so hard to perform that now I wonder if all my trouble was due to that you shouldn't be able to and you're actually exploiting a bug when you do it, either way during the fight against the boss I picked only one at once. Sometimes picking a hat is easy, sometimes it's super hard so maybe there's a reason, sometimes it's hard to wake up a fallen dude.
The art is great, the music is great, the idea is great, the commands are great when they work like I want them to work and I'm not really sure why sometimes they don't, the boss was satisfying to beat, it's a cool fight, so overall it was a bit frustrating yet mostly fun.
Very cool game overall.
