Folks from all around the world sub to my Patreon page, so it's definitely possible! As far as I know, they handle all of the conversion stuff themselves.
You can try PayPal, you pay in the currency that the recipient uses, and the funds you pay will be auto converted to your currency based on the daily exchange rate on your bank account
