I sadly couldn't get the most out of this game because my mouse wheel is broken so I couldn't really engage with the element switching mechanic-- That said... Even with just the default element I found myself not even really needing to engage with it? I don't know if that's a plus or a bonus but even though it took me longer to kill enemies I was still able to dodge the patterns just fine (I couldn't tell if it rewarded points for beating waves faster, but if it did then that would've been an appropriate "punishment" for this kind of playstyle). I thought the gamefeel was quite nice, I liked the feel of dodging bullets with the mouse and the aesthetic and the way the hitbox on the player was indicated were clever (though the hitboxes on the bullets felt maybe a tad big?) Overall a pretty comfy experience even if I couldn't engage with it 100%. due to my mouse issues, hahah.

Thank you for playing!
You can switch elements using the Q and E keys too. We initially designed the element nerf to be 0% damage, but playtesters found it too difficult to remember the "correct" elements under stress. So, we changed it to a 50% damage nerf and a 200% buff for using the correct element (with a 4x score bonus). The "punishment" is having a lower score and dodging more bullets for longer.
The bullet hitboxes are 2 pixels smaller than the sprites, though the lack of physics interpolation makes it hard to see when a hit is registered.
Rabbit and Steel inspired us to add the mouse-based movement!
The details are listed in the Game Manual/ Wiki. Hope this helps!
