I agree, conventional walkthrough mods that show the correct decision right away take all the fun out of it. Passive walkthrough mods wait for you to make a decision first and then give feedback if necessary, that's an improvement already.

Playing the game blind and just keeping an eye on affection point gains works with simple [+1/+0] decisions, but creative devs will often implement more intricate decisions where this trick won't work. Eternum has these too.

Right now I'm working on "Causality" mods, which are the ultimate compromise: They are very similar to passive walkthrough mods, but they are also a lot smarter, which allows for more player agency. They still soothe your fomo, but immersion wise, it feels almost as if you weren't using any guidance at all. I already created such a mod for Once in a Lifetime, try it if all this sounds interesting to you! I'm always looking for feedback.
