Hi there!

Great question - when you submit your game, you’ll be able to list up to four team members, and those are the names that will be officially credited. We definitely encourage collaboration, but we do ask teams to stay within that four-person limit for submission.

If someone leaves the team early and is replaced, that’s totally fine! Just keep in mind that only the final four submitted names will be credited, so it’s important that everyone on the team, including the team member that is leaving, is aligned and comfortable with that arrangement.

Hope that helps, and feel free to reach out if anything else comes up!

So i'm a composer, and wanted to join the jam with a sound designer friend, if we agree to be officially credited as one person (as an audio team) it's ok ? Thank you !

Hello! Since both you and your sound designer friend are actively working on the project, we’d like to kindly ask that you refrain from submitting as an audio team.

This is really about fairness — if an audio team is acceptable, it opens the door for other teams to do the same with, say, a four-person game design team, and so on.

We understand that, given the online nature of the jam, strict enforcement is difficult. But this event is meant to be a creative challenge and a learning opportunity, and we trust all our participants to approach it in that spirit.

Thanks for your understanding!

There are also quite a few posts from participants looking for composers and sound designers — it could be a great opportunity to make new connections and collaborate with someone new through the jam!

Thanks for the clarification, i appreciate the focus on fairness. I'll take a look at the posts from particiapants looking for composers then. All the best with the jam !
