Hi, really interested to play this game, but whenever I try to launch from the title screen the following error occurs;

FATAL ERROR in Vertex Shader compilation
ShaderName: shdr_ItemShine

D3DXCompile failed - result

at gml_Object_obj_Title_Draw_0

Any idea what I can do to fix this?

(on windows btw, and am using the most recent version for windows)

Using the installer version should fix this. Tell me if it doesn't so I can look into it! :)

I tried using that, and got the same error, unfortunately. I can get to the page which links to your patreon and twitter just fine, the game only crashes when I click on the arrows in the bottom-left.

Weird, I thought for sure the install would take care of that. I got this issue on a laptop a while back, and it turned out I was missing some drivers. This is what fixed it at the time:

I'll see if I can find a way to prevent that from happening.

I installed the stuff on the link and it worked like a charm. Best of luck in finding what is causing the issue.

Nice! It seems the best way to take care of this would be to explain this in a readme, I'll do that in the future.
