The dev already knew about the correct spelling, he made a statement about it on the game page.

I know my comments sounds quite nitpicky and generally negative, but if there's a factor that turns potential new players away immediately, it's no longer a nitpick. If I were a dev, I would certainly want this kind of feedback. Though I admit it makes me look a bit like an asshole, sorry about that.

The VNs that have perfect spelling/grammar is so rare it's actually a miracle to find one. Yet sometimes the writing could actually be good if you can excuse a few mistakes here and there.

Many devs are tackling their creations solo and translating/proofreading/spellchecking tens of thousands of words can be a massive undertaking aside from all the other aspects of creating their game. If even 10% of those "nitpickers" offered to help with spellcheck and translating the quality of dialogue would skyrocket overall.

My take would be if someone actually really likes the game and wants to keep following it to completion to offer whatever help they can. It would be even more help than monetary assistance in some cases.
