As there is no direct feature for players to ask questions on itch.io, this thread exists to ask questions about the game, as well as where questions (such as those placed in reviews) will be answered.

If you would like a general question about the game answered, post here.

Q: "How really explicit is this game? Is it just teasing with the half-nude images, or there are actual sexual scenes? Also, can you play a bad guy there and conquer the world, or it's linearly pushing you into the 'right' path?)" asked by art926 on 14th March, 2020.

A: Hi art926.

The game currently has a small amount of explicit content, as well as more explicit content being planned in the future. The current content is restricted to nudity of varying degrees, however in the future, the game will have fully drawn CGs, both explicit and safe for work, to indicate progression through romantic and friendship levels. These may include forms of sexual content.

Additionally, Morality in Verdict is grey, while some things are defined as good or bad (depending on your moral compass), most choices come with a variety of different approaches, such as fighting someone, persuading them, or bribing them.

Morality is also relative to which people you choose to party with, as some may view actions as good, that others would view as bad. Certain companions may even encourage classically "bad" behaviour, such as beating someone up for answers.

There is no right or wrong, and only a few events in the game are linearly enforced. Many others, however are highly dependant on choices you make, or have made.

In the future, however, we plan on expanding the morality systems in Verdict to allow the player a greater choice in dealing with situations.

Thanks for your question!

Sorry been trying really hard to figure out but i cant, how do you revive fallen party members? I tried going back to the camp to sleep but it never really heals anyone including my character.

Hi there Zeroken09,

This sounds like it could possibly be a bug, but first I just want to check several things:

1. When you are at your camp, or castle, have you tried entering the left-most tent, or left-most building and pressing the action (i.e talk/open/use) key/button on the bed? This should prompt you to sleep for a short while, and restore and revive you and your party members to full health.

2. You additionally also have an ability called "The Seven's Grace", on your main character. This ability can be used at a large cost (a high amount of your main character's life) to restore a single party member to life, but only when the party is out of combat (i.e the ability is used from the Skills/Abilities menu on the main menu screen.) This ability should also be able to revive a fallen party member.

3. If you are near any Inn (either the one in Gantinmi or Vasalthein), you can obtain a room for a small fee that will function the same as your camp bed, allowing you to revive and restore yourself and your party members, but with the added bonus of a meal that provides a small buff when you wake up!

If none of these methods revive your fallen party member, you may have encountered a bug, and we would greatly appreciate you posting about what happened leading up to this issue in the sub-forum here: https://itch.io/board/617080/bug-reports

Thank you for your question, and thank you for your support!

The first one didn't work but the second and third did thanks!

No problem Zeroken09!

No probs! happy to help. Another question though. How can I fish up the Kar'pei? I have the Vanthium and the rotten carcass but i dont know what to do next. It doesnt have any prompt to do so whatsoever. (Also, sorry but i kind of skimmed through the text but where is the Bandit's cache if you dont mind telling me.)

Hi there, Zeroken09!

The Kar'pei can be fought so long as you have both the Vanthium and Rotten Carcass in your inventory. With both of these objects, you will have a random chance when fishing in any fishing hole in Felodrift to fish up the Kar'pei, which will randomly appear in the place of a regular fish. There is no special requirements to use the items, or pick a different option - you just need to fish as if you were trying to get regular fish.

The chance is roughly the same to catching a lobster, so it may take a minute or two!

In regards to the Bandit's Cache, which quest are you inquiring about? There are several quests and side activities that involve finding hidden caches, and I would need to know the exact one to know which cache you need.

Thank you for your support, and thank you for your questions!

Thanks as always, its the side story one called Alan’s Pack.

Hi There, Zeroken09!

The cache that you are looking for is hidden in a discarded pile of wood, somewhere near the Guard's Tower in Felodrift!

There appears to be a missing part of the quest that was supposed to direct players towards here.

We have noted this, and in the next update this quest will have a better series of descriptions for each stage!
