So, it's a dream/coma story where the MC has to help or solve something in an anthro alternate universe his mind made up while he's unconscious?

That is certainly one way of interpreting the story thus far. If you stick around, maybe we'll find out if your interpretation is accurate or not. 

I'd just prefer ones that aren't the stereotypical storyline. The, dream/coma, the accidental transportation, the "omnipotent/omnipresent being that treats your life and experiences as a game or an experiment of some kind, ala Adastra or Far Beyond," the race to get back to your home/reality, OH, can't forget the Amnesia trope. They've all been done to death.
