That's no good! That kind of error usually occurs when a variable gets missed on a playthrough and doesn't have a default set, but that variable does have one.
I imagine some change in a recent update made old saves forget the variable, since a few other players have run into similar issues. Have you restarted the game from the beginning? That should solve it.
i both tried to remove all data redownload. and play a new save game. (the saves where still there evn do i removed everything do) but the crash still happend on the start of chapter 11 the thief. so tried a few ways.
but i wil also say the apk version of the game. i had some random crashes. one at chapter 6. one in chapter 12. but a reload and it does not come back after reload.
the pc version i keep getting the isue. but i do use custem names do. i have not tried to do without useing custem names. in all honest
