I really appreciate the kind words on the visuals and sound ,that kind of encouragement really helps.
As for the roguelike scaling it’s definitely a tricky balance, and opinions on that can vary a lot depending on playstyle.
Interestingly, quite a few players actually told me the game felt a bit on the easier side, and that they didn’t even need much help from the power-ups.
So during the jam, it was honestly a tough call , I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how far to push progression without making it frustrating. It’s something I’ll keep refining, and I’m strongly considering adding a difficulty option in a future update.
Also, I totally hear you on the VFX , I’ll be adding a toggle or low-VFX mode for those who prefer a cleaner screen.
