at first, the game was very good at building atmosphere, and i liked the plot. it was genuinely spooky during hide and seek, especially not being able to look around. but the basement is a really unfun experience. the map is too big to be chased, and it's really hard to loop the monster if you end up in a room. i also dislike how the task bar was emphasized, but you're left in the most directionless situation with nothing telling you what to do. if the map was smaller and the monster didn't auto-lock you, i think it'd be fine, but the basement was hard enough without being chased.
the art style was really good, and it had me in the beginning. i had a lot of fun with my friends with it though, so i appreciate that, kudos!
