Masuo harem is active as long as he has the ring and Ryoko is alive.
Here's how girls behave if they have sex with him. The ones who love him will refuse to have sex with anyone else such as Reiko, Aoi, Tatsuka, Ena, etc. The one he doesn't wanna let go will also not have sex with their partner but they will still love them. Examples are Junsa, Momoko (Very important for a major questline). The one he doesn't care much about will have sex with other like usual such as Tsukiko, Tomo, Sumire, Harleen.
There will be major questline in future where his ring will get destroyed, undoing everything that has happened because of ring. This would make certain NPC's fate different, some would cease to exist and Masuo will refuse sex with anyone resulting in no assistant except one. Reiko is Masuo's crush but without Ryoko's influence she doesn't reciprocate it. She will be Kunio's girlfriend (This depends on what Masuo decides to do after his ring is destroyed).
But Masuo will still have a version of Aoi to look after him as long as player doesn't play a certain map. Player will be able to correct the timeline after seeing three heart break events. Reiko & Kunio together, knowing about his sister's death and seeing Aoi dying. Because of too much stress he will fall in coma and memories of two people will guide him out of it. Now depending on who Masuo decide to side with, things will play in that direction.
make it an adult book and it won't be a laughing stock either way... Personally I take as a laughing stock every erotic game. I find it funny the blend of video games and sex. But this game (the hole saga) stuck out... Ok its now 100% serious and I getting it but sometimes I'm genuinely impressed of the lore for real.
Btw the comic idea is amazing but I thing it would be best after the games are 100% made. Because this way your drawing skill would be the best and it would be a great ending for this saga
I can't make it erotic book. I know most great show begins from a book but I'm gonna try creating a Manga for Magic Ring (Not an erotic one) and A 3D game for HTA 2 story. Again, not erotic. I'm not confident in story but but if I do it correctly I'm sure it will be a liked souls-like. I got so many things thought of. Once these projects are done I can finally begin working on those.
I had two projects already there in 2017. Both horror games but I don't know if you will be able to find them now. Then I tried my hand at basic beatem up. But because of Parasite in City influence it turned into an erotic game. Game did better than my previous project so I decided to continue erotic game but as always no matter how good your game is you can't proudly say this game was made by me.

After seeing all heart break events Masuo will go in coma and there you will be able to select the path. Get previous ring back and get a new ring that is more corrupted.
I also forgot to mention Masuo can obtain another ring during normal gameplay. This one can't be worn since it can't be removed from the severed finger. It will be available as an equipment. As long as you don't make right choice in an questline or don't initiate that, the other ring will stay in his possession.
And before you ask purpose of that ring. You don't need to 100% Dahlia's ring effect. More options will be available at the cost of loved one refusing sex with you.
