The art is really very good, as well as the sfx! I enjoyed playing and think you guys should be very happy with this game :)
I really love this game, I'd probably say the visuals and sound speak to me the most here, but I also really enjoy playing strategy games :) It's definitely a cool entry I'd replay!
Cool visuals, cool gameplay, cool music.
I wish there were a few more levels (or opponents) to beat, starting with less variety of cards, and then unlocking new cards at later levels. Because I found myself reading and trying to understand a lot of new cards while the enemies are approaching.
All in all, this entry is super cool! I liked it
Thank you!
Yeah different arenas being randomly selected was planned but scrapped since it was more of a bonus than core mechanic.
And with the card selection available, it was mainly a matter of not having time to make different cards lol.
Thank you for the feedback! <3
I LOVE this one, great job! I got walloped by the AI for the first five or so matches but quickly figured out the game and had a lot of fun with it. As any good roguelike, with balancing and more mechanics, I can see a lot of replay value in this.
My nitpicking: The AI you realize quickly isn't very smart. (And making a good AI for a game as complex as this I'm sure is tough.) The spell ephemeral is useless, since you can never run out time ironically as spells and minions (even the big ones) are super cheap. And spells like sundial are really interesting, because for that example, it discourages large collected attacks (but tbh its way too powerful).
Thank you for playing!
Yeah the AI is a bit bare bones, but still generally happy it works.
The day I was going to implement enemy spells and more complex AI / roguelike-mechanics for the enemy AI, I had work lol so it didn't end up coming to fruition.
Thank you for the feedback still <3
