Yeah, we somehow didn't test Rock and Stone after making a change that broke it until after the deadline. I fixed it the same day as the deadline but I obviously couldn't edit the submission. It's fixed in the GitHub version, which also has some fixed animations.

I'm surprised so many people like the art. I'm not really an artist and would've preferred to have a dedicated artist on our team. The art I tried to make passable but had to balance with also making all the code for the game, which included learning a bit of WebGL since I hadn't used it before.

We did a push in the last couple of days to go from 2 modes to 8 instead of making animations.
I then made the questionable decision to add animations in the last few hours while Peter was asleep and couldn't stop me.

Yeah, from what I understand, that's part of Peter's intended challenge in House of Gold. It's expected that you might lose like that. You have to manage making sure you have a bucket available if you pick up any sand and put off using it until you won't be picking up any more sand. The only person so far that I know has beaten House of Gold is my girlfriend. Even Peter and I haven't gotten around to it yet.
