I just binged this, and I don't have nearly enough time to write a review large enough to encompass how I feel. The storytelling, the visuals... I saw Dr. Tan turn her back and it made me so happy. I love seeing them experience emotions!!! And, well. Oh god the emotions. Spoilers from this point on!

I really hope that's enough spaces to get "view rest"-ed.

I love it when you can't just look at someone and say they're a bad person. Because we're seeing from Dr. Deidre's point of view, Angie's character gets so much more fleshed out. It's chilling to see the complexities of her morals. It was definitely an Experience for Dr. Deidre, too--the visuals and writing made that abundantly clear. The dimming of the visuals and background, the growing anger of the case study reports and the diary... The sudden cut to red and yellow visuals was jarring, but it definitely fit. Plus, it's on theme with the later explosions! Subtle foreshadowing, and such.
I was NOT expecting for them to cut off Pavel's legs. Before that, the YTDI was bad, but not that bad. The "processing" gave you a bad feeling, but it was just a feeling. The legs were a wake-up call. The chip in the brain, after that, was undeniable evidence of what they were trying to do to him. It felt like before that, everything could be excused away somehow, as long as you were willing to look away. The writing for that in particular was amazing; seeing just how much Dr. Deidre was able to deny and excuse before she realized what she had to do. I think what she ended up doing was the only course she could have taken, and Pavel's ending scene was so worth it. (Amazing voice acting on that, too! I love all the voice acting for the entire Violence series. The VAs do such a good job at making the characters feel real.)

Thank you so much for the awesome review! I'm glad you liked how the story progressed - on top of the voice acting. Everyone worked incredibly hard for this project, and I'm glad their efforts paid off. :>
