In the customhorses folder, you have two images: customhorsetemplate.png and customhorsetemplateBG.png!

The first one is the drawing on top of everything, the black lines.

The second one is the part you can recolor. (You can ignore this part if you want, and bake in the color in the first image!)

When you have your set done, leave them in the customhorses folder. They must be PNGs!" this part confuses me. where do i do the drawing?

i assume it just means "after drawing your horses, save the file as a png, then place them in the customhorses folder" 
you can make pngs with almost anything, if you dont have a drawing software i recomend paint.NET as it supports transparency out of the gate

i will update with my findings in like a hour btw i havent actually used this yet

thanks! ill try this. whats the pixel size you think is best for the canvas?

i trippled the size and worked with a brush at ~10px and then shrunk it back down to 900x150

one last question: do i draw all of the horse frames in 1 png or put all of their frames in seperate pngs?

one png! theres a template in the files
