hey RelivDev I know you've been cooking something up, but I wanted to suggest an idea.  

what about harder levies with different biomes?
so basically in the portal gates you would have three possible gate options that may spawn. the normal stone door, a dark cobble stone door with sigils in the stone, and a cobble door where the sigils glow with like a blue/red/pink color 

the second door has like a orange maple color to the flora and the ruins have a cobble like texture. along with that, enemies are 5 levels higher than your character. but, better loot.

the rune door depends on the color. red runes means double fire enemies and small fires dot the land./ blue is for ice so double ice enemies and slick ice randomly forms on the island (even on slopes so watch how you bhop) / and pink is an insane amount of mele/ bomb enemies that do more damage, spot you quicker, and attack faster. 

i don't know if your game have an engine limit so I was just wanting to share an idea I had and see what you think. regardless great work as always, and I can't wait to see what you do next  XD

These kinds of things are really good ideas, and the only thing stopping me on this front is budget. Budget gets out of control so fast on an indie game I am learning.

As long as your trying, thats all that matters to me. responding with your thought and info is good enough for me to be happy :)
