Not a bad start to the game, but I got a bit lost after finding the note and going to each building. All the doors said they were locked and the cop said he was busy. I couldn't click the bartender so maybe that was the next place to go? But overall I think it's got some good design elements, especially for a first game, but might need some way to know what the next goal is (which is something I struggled with on my game too). I also had some tech issues like the previous commenter, where the window was too small, plus I had a broken black overlay on top of the screen. And I didn't know it was a WASD game until I tried to click everywhere and tried the arrow keys, so maybe just signalling that early on would be nice. Hope you both continue working on it. Good work!

Thanks for the feedback Ryan! I honestly have no clue what's going on with the windowing, it works perfectly for me. Also, thanks for complimenting the designs! Making those was a loooong process. About the other stuff, I really should've had more signaling from clue to clue. The issue with the doors and overlay that you were having is because it was night! The tutorial says that if you click on the bed it skips time, but it should definitely be more clear. I tried to include some hints in with the dialogue, but the dialogue boxes were a bit weird in the actual game instance on Itch, so I don't know if that was working. I'll certainly include your suggestion about making sure it's known that it's WASD when I do some more work on this project. Again thank you so much for the feedback! It'll help us a lot in the future.
